Mesohori means "halfway the village". And this is exactly where George Votzakis' taverna and studios are located. It's the quiet part of Chora Sfakion, Crete, about 80 meters above sea level. To the beach and the boulevard it's just a 5 minutes walk.
George himself is a many-sided man. He is not only managing his taverna and studios, he also has a small laundry as well as olive trees, sheep, honey bees and his own vegetable garden. Of course he uses all of his selfmade products in his taverna, but he also sells a lot of olive oil and honey to locals and his guests.
George and his staff are proud the taverna is recommended by the famous french 'Guide du Routard'.
The taverna and studios are open all the year!
